Shrink privacy

Shrink processes the photos you choose on your device. Fourdot Tech LLC does not receive those photos or the files Shrink creates.

Photos and files

Shrink reads only photos you choose with Android's photo picker, document picker, or share action. Compression runs on your device and creates a new file; it does not overwrite the original. GPS and other supported EXIF metadata are removed by default. You can choose to preserve supported metadata in the app's settings.

If you choose to save, export, or share a result, Android passes the selected file to the destination you choose. That destination handles the file under its own privacy practices. Shrink has no photo-upload service or Fourdot account system.

Ads, analytics, and diagnostics

Shrink shows no ads and does not include Google Mobile Ads, UMP, Firebase Analytics, or Crashlytics in v1. Shrink does not send app interactions, diagnostic reports, or crash reports to Fourdot. The app does not ask for your date of birth or collect your age.

Local data and permissions

Shrink does not request broad photo-library or storage access. Android grants access only to the files you select. Compression and result preparation work offline. App preferences remain in app-private storage. Android backups and destination apps may handle data under their own policies.

Google Play purchases

Google Play processes optional Lifetime Pro purchases and payment details. Shrink receives purchase status and a purchase token from Google Play to unlock and acknowledge the purchase. These purchase details are used for app functionality and are not sent to a Fourdot server. Fourdot does not receive your card details. Google handles purchase records and refunds under Google's privacy policy.
