PlateMath
Know what goes on the bar.
Inventory-aware plate calculations, in pounds or kilograms.
Enter a target weight and see the plates for each side. PlateMath uses your bar, collars and available pairs of plates. If an exact load is unavailable, it shows the nearest achievable weights above and below.
- Live calculations in pounds or kilograms
- Clear per-side plate diagrams and load instructions
- Fewest plates or changes from the recorded current load
- Useful free calculator with local settings
Lifetime Pro adds multiple equipment profiles, custom plate inventories, and clear plate changes between workout loads. It is a one-time Google Play purchase, with no subscription.
Availability
The Android app is currently in release testing. This page will link to its Google Play listing when the public release is available.
Help with PlateMath
Enter your target on Load. Check the bar and collar weights under Gear, and enter plate quantities as the app labels them. Plates and changes are shown per side. Tap Set as loaded after changing the bar to record the starting point for your next calculation.
If the exact target cannot be made with your equipment, choose an achievable alternative. The 1RM feature is an estimate, not a measurement of a lift you have performed. Export and import JSON under Settings to move your local equipment data.
Purchases and restore
Purchase Lifetime Pro through Google Play. On a new device, use the same Google Play account and tap Restore purchase in Settings while online. Pending purchases unlock only after Google Play confirms payment. If Play is temporarily unavailable, try again later. Manage refunds and payment issues through Google Play.
